The mastery of time is mindfulness, becoming aware, living fully in the present moment. Don't waste your time looking back on what you've lost. Time passes, that's life. You resist, but it makes no difference. But if you accept, then you're happier! Be present and move on... for life is not meant to be travelled backwards.
Remember what Brian Tracy said: "There is never enough time to do everything, but there is always enough time to do the most important thing."
It's our loved ones that matter most in the world, so it's such a shame if we focus exclusively on work and neglect our home, especially if that is done to avoid taking responsibility for relationship problems within the family.
Life takes place right now, the only moment that truly exists, outside of memories and expectations. "There's no time like now," because creation happens in the Now.
Most of us have this sense that our deep self is the same now as when we were much younger. We are a timeless awareness, witnessing our journey through this lifetime.
Acceptance of the present moment is the only way we can experience true peace and contentment. We can continuously yearn for or be stuck in the past or anxious for what the future holds yet really when we come into the present moment we can be aware of what is available and truly experience life.
