I suppose embarrassment is the uncomfortable aspect of making mistakes, but really we should be proud because mistakes only happen when we are trying things out, moving forward, seeing if doors will open, experimenting, creating.
Look at how far you've come rather than on how far you have left to go.
Striving for success and being willing to put ourselves out there is an accomplishment within itself, regardless of how many times we fail.
However brilliant you are, many failures inevitably lie on the road to success, so welcome each one as a key lesson. As Mahatma Gandhi said, "Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes."
