The Successful Entrepreneur
Commentary by Peter Shepherd
“Entrepreneurs don’t become entrepreneurs to work less. They become entrepreneurs and work harder. They work longer hours and usually for a lot less money. All to make their dream become a reality.” ~ B.E.
Starting up a new company successfully is living a few years of your life like most people won’t (super-dedicated), so that you can spend the rest of your life like most people can’t (doing what you want when you want). “Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice.” ~ Steve Jobs
There will be obstacles, there will be doubters, there will be mistakes... but with a powerful enough vision and the hard work to back it up, there are no limits to what can be created.
“I’m convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.” ~ Steve Jobs
Losers say, “It may be possible but it’s too difficult.” They see the pain and the problems, and they let it go. Winners say, “It may be difficult but it is possible.” They see the gain and the possibilities, and they make it happen.
