Affirmations are helpful when they are positive thoughts that help to establish empowering beliefs. They need to be true; it's counter-productive to lie to yourself. Say what you want, not what you don't want. Speak without a sense of time, like it's true now, already.

What is important is that you start taking action today, right now even, and begin using one or more techniques and monitoring the response you have.
