Now, as you know jsEditor is not an HTML editor. Normally I use Front Page editor to do WYSIWYG HTML (As I am doing now). But there are times when some problems occur and you need to use the jsEditor.
Copy the following to a plain page in the editor (choose File:New):
Click at the end of the word 'and' and choose BR from the buttons, or right click on the page (if you are not in HTML mode, right click on the HTML mode button at the top). A <BR> is added to the 'and'. The break will be added wherever you put the cursor.
Press Control Z to undo this.
Now click on 'and' anywhere you like and choose List. A dialogue appears. Click on the button 'Add Breaks'. A break is added at the end of the line, no matter where you clicked in the line. Click on close to close the dialogue.
Now type some more words (replacing and). I typed:
Select the words (just ensure the lines required are selected). Now choose list and click the Break's button again. I got this result:
That is, BR was added to the end of each selected line (providing it had some text). So no break was added to the empty line.
Press Control Z to get rid of the breaks. Select the words again and open the list dialogue if you closed it before.
Click on the button for an ordered list. I got:
That is, it made into list items the non-empty rows. Note you can choose your start number for the Ordered List and choose the type of item (1, a, A, i, I). You can play with this and add some silly numbers if you want.[an error occurred while processing this directive]
