Transform Trying into Letting Go
By Wallace Huey, Director of Training at Trans4mind
Try, compete, struggle, achieve - these are mantras of the modern age.
And they may work - but do they serve you?
You may be climbing the ladder that is your life, but is it leaning against the wrong wall?
Who is the most important person in your life? Whose health and welfare needs to come first? Who provides the foundation whose failure would spell real hardship?
It's you - isn't it?
The most important person we need to listen to and take care of is ourselves.
But do we?
All too often we drive ourselves, forcing ourselves to perform, to deliver, to win. And what is it all for?
To pay the bills? To please our partner, boss, Dad, daughter? To prove ourselves?
But where are you in all of this? Do you not count for something?
If this describes your life, even in part, I invite you to STOP FOR A MOMENT.
Take a break from the madness.
Breathe... breathe... breathe... Notice yourself breathing. Look out the window. There is beauty all around. Are you aware of it?
Your Soul (yes you do have one) is crying out for beauty, love and peace.
Give up the struggle just for this moment.
Peace... peace... peace...
Now - - - Who are you?
Sit with this for a moment.
Do you know who you are?
Do you know why you were born?
Do you know what you love?
Or have you forgotten...
Breathe... breathe... breathe...
You are a child of the universe. You are totally unique. You are a wonder unto yourself.
Allow that wonder.
To wonder, to question, to ask, provides the inspiration for a life well lived. For an exceptional life. For a life worthy of your birth. Remember when you were young - how you questioned everything. And then you grew up and became serious and certain like all your peers.
At Trans4mind, we understand. Even though we have not met I know you are a wonderful, brilliant and talented person.
You can reinvent your life.
...And we can help.
If you wish you can start by doing our Free Life Assessment. It will help you see your life clearly, perhaps for the first time. Then if you want you can take the next step in your journey with us.
Thank you for sharing this time with me.
