Once upon a time there lived a schoolboy who wanted to do well in life. So he listened to his elders and did what they said.
"Study hard, get good grades and go to college," they said and so that is exactly what he did.
Then he borrowed lots of money and worked hard in the holidays so he could work even harder at college and get a good degree.
Then the elders said, "Now you have a degree the way to happiness is to get a good secure job and you will be able to fullfill your dreams of owning your own home, getting married and raising a family."
So he proceeded to work harder still to climb the ladder that was set out before him.
If he was lucky he became one of the chosen ones to do well in life. So he managed, after working really hard, to find his secure job, get married and have children, all according to plan. And now he could see a future of working really, really hard stretching out in front of him for his whole life.
Then he asked himself an important question...
"Do I actually want this?"
