"My suppressed feelings are erupting out - is that a good thing?"
It's basically a complicated problem but have been on a medication for a ptsd and mild schizophrenia problem, the problem was the medication zyprexa didn't work, and only suppressed my feelings more for 3 years. Now i am on the new medication called abilify and those suppressed feelings are erupting out. My question: is that good and would group treatment help me get over those suppressed feelings I've had for years? I almost connected to your article, Ayal.
I don't know as I am not a medical doctor and I am not well versed in schizophrenia. I can tell you that I think it is always good to get suppressed feelings out, if it can be done in an appropriate, safe for self and others, way.
I think that there are also alternative ways to deal with schizophrenia - you might check into finding an excellent healer who can work with the energetics of the body and see if that could help as well. I am not saying go off meds, as I am not qualified to say that. But I think that there are other ways to deal with these problems besides suppressing them. That is not healing it at the core, in my view.
Blessings, Ayal
