Stay The Course, Success Is Waiting!
By Robert Crawford III
Ok, so you have thought about it and you are now sure you are in line for or have a good plan for being successful. Are you currently on course toward success? If not, let's go back a few years or more. Remember when you were in high school, that old lunch line. Do you remember how long it took to get your utensils; milk and plate of food, and then you hovered around to find a good seat to talk with friends? Well, if you do not remember that do you recall standing in that allegedly long lunch line watching others talk and gossip about last nights football or basketball game, or the math class that seems impossible to pass or the homework that you forgot to turn in yesterday.
The bottom line is you where in a line waiting to move forward to receive your meal because it was eleven thirty or twelve o"clock, time for you to consume food. You were hungry and you knew if you stood in this particular line long enough you could safely say that you were guaranteed a meal. This would be the end result if you did not get out of line or had no meal ticket or money for your meal. There was an absolute that you would receive food in exchange for your money or a ticket given to the person at the beginning of the line.
Your success became reality once the exchange was made between you and the individual handling the money or ticket for your meal. The successful transaction was completed and you sat down to enjoy your meal, which was your plate of food. You enjoyed a full plate of food and a beverage, milk or juice to wash it all down.
You should remember that life is in essence like standing in line for that meal. Sometimes you may become frustrated in a long line but remain in the lines of life and you can reach your goals. Be steadfast and consistent and try not to be wavered. If you get out of line it may be difficult to get back in, so remain focus and look ahead and know your destiny. You have the ticket to get what you need which is simply your motivation and stamina to be successful. Stay the course, by keeping positive and focused.
This may be done by speaking something positive to you and to others each day. Stay the course and let no one dictate or determine your providence. Remember you have been standing in the line of life, moving forward each day and making progress. Surround yourself with positive people who are motivated. If you stay in line you can meet success at the end of the line which has been waiting for your arrival.
