Not everything is neutral in Switzerland, as some might anticipate. Although it is one of the smallest countries on the continent, Switzerland is considered one of the most influential, with one of the strongest financial systems in the world, considered a veritable heaven for banking. The geography of the country is dominated by the Alps, with the Swiss plateau in the middle, where most people live.

As if this were not enough, the Swiss are also known for their precise watches, delicious chocolate and Swiss cheese, among others. The capital of Bern with its perfectly preserved old center and impressive architecture is an exciting destination, as are the cities of Lausanne, Basel, Geneva, Lucerne, and Zürich.
Switzerland has also become one of the most popular winter destinations in the world, as well as a hiking paradise for travelers. There are countless ski resorts in Switzerland, with world class slopes. The best known destinations in the Swiss Alps include Zermatt, Interlaken, Grindelwald, Klosters, Arosa, Davos, Verbier and Crans Montana. These are perfect for ski, snowboard and other winter sports, while during the summer, they become perfect hiking and mountaineering destinations, with excellent adventures waiting for travelers. Climbing imposing peaks such as the Matterhorn or Jungfrau are not for everyone, but of course make for an unforgettable experience. The nature of Switzerland also offers beautiful lakes, fascinating waterfalls, glaciers and forests, making it the ultimate outdoor haven of Europe.
