Learn About Switzerland

Descending from the mountains, from place to place, idyllic traditional Swiss villages dot the green pastures, giving the impression of seeing postcards everywhere.

Not everything is neutral in Switzerland, as some might anticipate. In fact, the Swiss have always lived to the extremes, used to going from the peaks of the mountains to the deep valleys below, always in communion with nature. To describe Switzerland is to go from the amazing cultural treasures of the cities and towns to the pasture villages with Holstein cows and to stop at the top of the highest mountains in order to admire the idyllic landscape beneath. Although it is one of the smallest countries on the continent, Switzerland is considered one of the most influential, with one of the strongest financial systems in the world, considered a veritable heaven for banking. The geography of the country is dominated by the Alps, with the Swiss plateau in the middle, where most people live.
