A Little Risqué... The Most Amazing Holiday

Desire hotel

Desire Resort and Spa is a resort that caters to couples. It is an exclusive, non-clothing resort. It can get quite hot and steamy sometimes; I'm not going to lie. There is no pressure to participate in activities you don't feel comfortable with. Although my fiance and I aren't swingers, we never felt pressured to participate in this lifestyle. My fiancee and I went to Desire hotel Riviera Maya Resort & Spa in December for the first ever time. The expectations of our holiday were somewhat uncertain. It was, I have to admit, one of our best vacations. It was a fantastic resort with a great atmosphere.

Transfer from the airport to the resort was fast and efficient. The check-in process at the resort was easy and quick. We were quickly on our way to our rooms.

The room was standard. Although it wasn't huge, it was adequate for the time we spent there. The bathroom was large and clean. The closet had shelves and built-in drawers. The dresser had additional drawer space across the room.

We were extremely pleased with the food selections. There were many international options, as well as healthier options. El Arrecife (the buffet) offers different themes nights in the evenings so that guests don't have to eat the same thing every day.

Suki, the Japanese restaurant, was excellent. Reservations were made for Teppanyaki Grill. We were able to watch the chef prepare our meals and enjoyed fantastic food.

Kahlo was our favorite restaurant. It was a fantastic experience. The entire evening was a wonderful experience, from the music and decor to the food and drinks. There was something for everyone on the menu, as well as the delicious food. The food was excellent! It is simply a must-have! Everything was great.

The pool was our favorite place to relax and unwind. There are plenty of chairs, loungers, and beds around the pool. Danny will quickly assign you a bed or chairs each morning and bring over towels and pillows. There is no need to rush to find a chair or put your belongings on the beds.

The pool is small but heated and has enough space to allow you to take a dip, swim, or just relax. The pool bar is fantastic. The bar is always well-stocked, and the bartender is always available to offer you a unique drink.

As the sun begins to sink in the sky and the temperature drops, guests start to make their way to the hot tub to start the evening. Here is where the fun begins to get riskier, but it's still a lot of fun. The hot tub's swim-up bar is always stocked with plenty of drinks and is very busy.
