Make Travelling Your Passion
By Arslan Haider
Travelling is not just an activity someone does, it is much more signified and spiritual than that. It becomes a part of you and makes you experience things you never though existed. It changes your perspective about live and you understand that places, situations, weather, culture and people can change, but it reminds you that there are certain core human qualities which are the same in all of us.
Explore, dream and discover. I think everyone should live by this rule to live life to the fullest. Travel to places you never thought you would, you would be amazed by the things you discover. They can be anything like best restaurants in Italy with the view of the Eiffel tower or little things like the best parks in Chicago for a picnic. Travelling is not always what we think it will be. It isn’t all pretty, it isn’t always easy, it isn’t always comfortable but it is always worth it. The journey changes you and makes you crave more.
The journey and travelling turns you into a story teller. For instance, you can describe the scenery, the sunset, the chirping of the birds, the perfectly flavored sandwiches while you were on a picnic in one of the best parks in Chicago. You can paint a picture that will automatically make you miss that time which is another rule when it comes to travelling. Live in the moment. You can capture every moment with your camera but just keep your lens down for a minute and soak it all in. You will never get to experience it in the same way ever again. Moments like these create a feeling inside you, send a rush of adrenaline inside your veins wanting more which create a passion for travelling.
You grow as you learn and explore new ideas, histories, beliefs, and scenarios. You get to experience life’s problems, pleasures in a more unique way and it makes you come out of your personal bubble to become a better person by exploring yourself. The people; meeting different people from all across the globe is highly rewarding. Sitting with them around a bonfire and listening to their cultures and stories really opens up your mind. The food; the taste of an authentic dish from a different part of the world is both scary and exhilarating. The exposure; exposure to everything you can think of, from environment to issues to ethnicities and religion. Traveling gives exposure to new places, new types of people and different ways of living that will continue to shape your life forever. You can really never go back after experiencing it once.
Travels evolves you and makes your realize that the life you live is not the only way to live. There are many people around the world with different problems and many people with so many situations, seeking so many things. You realize how the world is so much bigger than it seems and then we make our problems to be; that there are many ways to live and be happy. You get in touch with your inner self and remember who you are, you remember how to use your instinct and take a risk. Traveling brings upon risks and challenges. It forces us into situations which are unfamiliar, we have to use our intuition and just got with it.
Travelling is not simple and just moving from one place to another with your bags packed. The true sense of traveling is far bigger and broader, it is basically a set of or a whole lot of experiences that u go through when you move from one place to another. These experiences are the most adventurous thing to exist. You can do skiing, you can do parasailing, and you can do deep sea diving and so much more. Just reading about these makes you stand up, imaging actually getting to do it! Travelling gives a sense of satisfaction like no other. It gives you a sense of fulfillment that you at least tried to do something in your life.
Some people also love the confusion travel creates. All the moving around and traveling makes you actually think for a minute and makes you feel like you belong to nowhere. But in reality, you belong to everywhere. You leave a mark everywhere you go and you don’t just take a souvenir back with you but a piece of that place and that experience will always be embedded in you somewhere for the rest of your life. Why won’t someone like to make travelling their passion? Travelling is one of the things in life that can actually add life to your body like no other.
