Do what you like
By doing what you enjoy, you significantly increase your productivity. This advice is obvious, but are you doing what you enjoy at work? So not something that you find enjoyable somewhere in the distance, but that you would also want to spend time on when you would not get money for it. By writing down exactly where you spend your time on everything, you gain insight into where you have spent your time well and where you haven't. You gain insight into how much time you spent on a certain task, how often you switched tasks during the day, how much time you spent idly watching the TV.
