Life is hard when you are living through your student phase. Things become tougher when you are forced to work along with your education. This is because your attention is divided between the two and resultantly you aren't able to fully focus on any. This not only keeps you from excelling at your workplace but reduces the levels of your performance at college as well.

During this phase, education tends to be the most important thing in an individual's life. However, when work jumps in, it becomes tough to manage things. You aren't able to give proper time to work and education, let alone socializing and other extra-curricular activities. If you're facing such a situation in your life, your top most priority should be education. You should find ways and methods using which you can improve your grades.

Introspect Daily: The aim of all the hard work you do in life should be to get better. This isn't plausible unless you introspect regularly. Review your day before going to bed and try to become a better person than you were yesterday. Accept the flaws and work on them. Utilize Time Properly: You should always remember one thing; every moment is precious and once lost it won't come back. So, you better utilize your time effectively.

Use Small Breaks to Learn: The grades you get at college only depend on your performance. It comes down to how much effort you are willing to put in. So, use small breaks from work to learn things related to your education. You can carry a book or notes to your work and go through them during your free time at the workplace. But, for the purpose you will have to attach yourself to your education so that you find it amusing.

Avoid taking Long Vacations: We all love to go on vacations, don't we? But, a lot of our time is consumed by them. It is not hours but days and often weeks which are spent on a vacation. Though this gets you relieved from the stress surrounding you but it takes up a lot of your time too. Thus, take a daring step during your education and say no to vacations. Instead, use this off time on your education so that you can improve your grades. You'll be required to do this for a couple of years only. So, it shouldn't be a big deal. You have a whole life ahead of you to enjoy. You can take a break whenever you want once you're successful.

Develop Good Relations: Public skills are crucial to surviving in today's world. Without sound public relations, you will be able to last neither at work nor at college. Therefore, try to make good friends at both the place. This way, you will be able to learn the stuff which you missed due to work by sharing notes. Similarly, you can ask someone to cover up for you at work and you can do the same for them whenever possible.
