3 Reasons Why You Must Put God First
In Everything You Do
By Anthony Eshun
Many times we hear the phrase “God first.” But do we really understand and make it practical? There are events that happen beyond our control. I mean something paranormal could happen at any moment in our lives, and science cannot explain it.
The effect of spiritual influence is very real. Because of that being spiritually awakened is very essential in your entire life.
In this post, I would like to talk about the importance of putting God first in everything you do. On part of Christians, we can never object to the power of God. He is the creator of heaven and earth.
Interestingly, the Bible says God knows everything, he is everywhere and can do anything. If such kind of person is in your life — imagine the glorious benefits you would enjoy.
We often wake up in the morning with a bunch of chores to handle. The mind becomes stressed up because you would be thinking about how to execute your goals for the day with effective results. Sadly your plans may not go as you had thought. Now the question is did you put God first?
Think about this: there are crucial decisions that would need a deeper thought before you can take. For instance choosing your life partner, taking a business decision traveling to a place you barely know about...
If you have God on your side, you have to ask him first before you make any crucial decision. You have to ask him through prayers, fasting, and meditation.
Believe me, if you are faithful to him he will answer you through dreams or visions. You may also have to listen to that little voice inside your head call conscience. It will whisper to you the exact decision you should make.
This brings us to those who believe in 'Spirit Guides.' You see, we are surrounded by many different spirits. Spirits foresee the future. They can therefore influence things that are yet to happen.
But, here I stand as a Christian; the Bible says God is Spirit and we must worship him in truth and spirit. If you believe in God, then put him first before you make any decision or take any step. He knows the future and what is best for you. You must read and inspire yourself with Bible lessons on regular basis to boost your faith. Through faith, Qyou can move mountains.
Why You Should Put God First
1. He Knows You More Than You Do
God made you, he also created heaven and earth. If you would trust him with your life, he will guide and protect you from harm or painful situations.God's perfect knowledge about you makes him a trustworthy person. So put God first and let him take control. Take a quick lesson from the Bible verse below:
“Before I formed you in your mother’s womb I chose you. Before you were born I set you apart. I appointed you to be a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5).
2. Better Plans For You
Your plans to go to school, get a better job, get married, and so forth is nothing special to talk about if you neglect God. He has better plans.
“For I know what I have planned for you,” says the LORD. “I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11).
You may think you are failing in life because your plans are not going through. But if God is on your side, he will restructure everything perfectly for you according to his will.
Even if the whole world says it is impossible — it is possible to God. He is a miracle-working God.
3. Tomorrow Is Not Promised
Who knows what will happen tomorrow? Only God has perfect knowledge about tomorrow and the future at large.
So prioritize him ahead of everything you do. He will always guide and protect you. He will give you the most suitable things you need in life.
Just trust him unconditionally. God sees what will happen tomorrow so he will guide you through.
Stay connected with him all the time and never lose faith in him. He is capable of turning every bad situation around.
