How To Watch All Marvel Movies In Chronological Order: A Comprehensive Guide

As the release date of Spider-Man: No Way Home is getting closer, some of you may wonder how did this huge hype of Marvel Cinematic Universe start in the first place. Well, we are here to help you out.

Some of you may wonder why your friends always talk about how evil Thanos is or how brave Iron Man is, but you can’t participate in their conversations. But now you can because if you watch all the Marvel movies in chronological order, you will also find this franchise exciting and won’t shy away from giving your opinions on which superhero is your favorite and why.

Before starting the list, let us tell you that you can download the MCU movies from the pirate bay and watch them for free. 

Marvel Movies In Chronological Order

Before we start the list of Marvel movies, let us tell you that we will be sharing the names of the films in their release date order. That means you should start seeing these movies according to the years they were released if you want to catch up with others.

1: Iron Man (2008)

A billionaire industrialist, Tony Stark sets off overseas to conduct weapon tests. When a group of terrorists kidnaps him and forces him to build a destructive weapon, Robert Downey Jr. makes an armored suit and defeats his captors. 

2: The Incredible Hulk (2008)

Bruce Banner, a renowned scientist, was turned into the green monster ‘The Hulk’ due to gamma radiation and is busy looking for a cure to fight it. Unfortunately, in the process, he is alienated from his true love, Betty Ross, and is forced to hide from his nemesis, Gen. 

3: Iron Man 2 (2010)

As the world now recognizes Tony Stark as the Iron Man, he faces pressure from the government to share his secret with the military. Tony is reluctant to divulge the secret behind his armored suit as it may fall into the wrong hands. Now he must confront a mighty enemy and form new alliances.

4: Thor (2011)

Thor is the son of Odin, who is the king of the Norse gods, and will soon become the crowned king of Asgard. On the day of the ceremony, the Frost Giants enter their palace, and Thor reacts brutally to this event. After Odin banishes him to earth, he must face his enemy with no power.

5: Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)

This movie shows the world of 1941, when America is on the brink of facing war with the Nazi-backed organization Hydra. Steve Rogers wants to be a part of the military program, but he is accepted into a scientific experimental program that turns him into the greatest soldier, Captain America.

6: The Avengers (2012)

Thor’s evil brother Loki has access to an energy cube and plans to rule the earth with it. Nick Fury, the S.H.I.E.L.D.-director, attempts to recruit superheroes to face this threat. You will see Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Black Widow in his team.

7: Iron Man 3 (2013)

Since saving New York from its supposed destruction, Tony Stark is stressed with insomnia and worries so much that he becomes utterly dependent on his Iron Man suit. However, after a malicious enemy called Mandarin turns his personal life into rubble, Tony avenges his losses with all he can.

8: Thor: The Dark World (2013)

This movie goes back to ancient times when the Norse gods fought a war with the Dark Elves and won. However, they neutralized the enemies and buried their ultimate weapon, Aether, in a secret location. However, Jane Foster gains access to that weapon and becomes its host years later. This event brings Thor to earth, and he brings Jane back to Asgard before the Dark Elf Malekith uses her to destroy the nine realms.

9: Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)

After the catastrophic events faced by the Avengers to save New York, Captain America tries to adjust to the modern lives residing in the nation’s capital. However, soon an attack on a S.H.I.E.L.D. Colleagues place the whole world at risk. Captain America joins forces with Black Widow and Falcon to save the world but soon encounters a new enemy.

10: Guardians Of The Galaxy (2014)

Space adventurer Peter Quill steals an orb from Ronan and finds himself in an uneasy truce with four people; Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot. However, he soon discovers the orb’s true power and convinces his gang to save the universe from the impending cosmic threats.

11: Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)

Tony Stark starts a peacekeeping program to save the earth, but things become awful soon after, and all the Avengers are forced to fight together again. Their enemy is a technological robot called Ultron, which wants to extinct the human race. 

12: Ant-Man (2015)

Dr. Hank Prym is forced out of his own company by his protege and recruits Scott Lang to take revenge on his enemy, who is a thief. As a result, Lang becomes the Ant-Man, giving him superhuman strength, the ability to shrink his size and control an army of ants.

13: Captain America: Civil War (2016)

Political pressure rose on the Avengers when their last battle led to devastating collateral damage. While Captain America thinks superheroes must be free to defend humanity as they deem fit, Iron Man disagrees with the situation, and Black Widow and Hawkeye must pick a side.

14: Doctor Strange (2016)

Dr. Stephen Strange's life changes when he loses the use of his hands after a car accident. When traditional medical help fails, he reaches out for a mythical healing process. Soon, he has to choose between his life of fortune and fame and his existence as the greatest sorcerer in the world.

15: Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 (2016)

A powerful alien race hires the guardians to defend their batteries from the invaders. However, when Peter discovers that Rocket stole the item they were supposed to guard, the Sovereign sends their army to seek vengeance. 

16: Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

Young Peter Parker returns home after his adventures with the Avengers and starts training to be an Avenger under the mentorship of Tony Stark. But, soon, he has to escalate his power more than the neighborhood superhero when the evil Vulture threatens everyone he loves.

17: Thor Ragnarok (2017)

Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe and is forced to fight with The Hulk in a gladiatorial contest. However, his quest for survival soon becomes a journey to prevent his long-lost sister, Hela, from destroying Asgard.

18: Black Panther (2017)

T’Challa returns homeland, Wakanda, after his father’s death and is about to be crowned king there. But, soon, an all-powerful enemy returns and threatens him. So now, T’Challa must be a Black Panther and defend the citizens of Wakanda.

19: Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

The avengers reunite once again to fight their ultimate nemesis, Thanos. Unfortunately, Thanos collects all 6 infinity stones to demolish half of human existence. It puts the power of Avengers to the test because they have never fought a battle like this before.

20: Ant-Man And The Wasp (2018)

Scott Land is grappling with the results from his battle as the Ant-Man while struggling as a father. Soon, he meets Dr. Hank Prym and Hope Van Dyne again to wear his Ant-Man suit and face an enemy to save the world.

21: Captain Marvel (2019)

Captain Marvel is an extraterrestrial warrior who is caught between a fight that’s going on between her people and the Skrulls. With the help of S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury soon discovers her past secrets and fights crime with her superpower.

22: Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Half the avengers are lost in time after the lost battle in the infinity war, while the other half tries to find a way to bring everyone back. Finally, they all come back, fighting the most epic battle with Thanos.

23: Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)

Peter Parker’s Europe vacation takes a twisted turn when Nick Fury shows up at his doorstep and recruits him for a mission. But, unfortunately, four unnatural enemies have dawned upon the earth, and Spider-Man must save the world again.

24: Black Widow (2021)

Natasha Romanoff confronts the darker secrets of her ledger while she learns about a conspiracy tying her to her past. Now, she must deal with the consequences of her life when she was a spy before she became an Avenger. 

25: Shang Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings (2021)

Shang-Chi is a martial arts master and is drawn to the web of Ten Rings, where he must confront his past secrets. It is a life he thought he left far behind, but soon the nemesis catches up with him.

26: Eternals (2021)

The Eternals shows a new crew of superheroes who are immortal beings and have lived on earth for years. Now, they all must join forces to fight the ultimate evil, Deviants. 

27: Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

When Peter Parker’s identity as Spider-Man is disclosed, he struggles to balance his high school life and his superhero life. He asks Doctor Strange for help, but he soon realizes what it means to become Spider-Man.
