Get Ready for Google Analytics 4
Like it or not, the world of analytics will be changing soon. If you are like most folks that use analytics to measure how their website is doing, chances are that you are on the current version of Google analytics, commonly referred to as Universal Analytics (UA).
Analytics has come a long way from the old days of analyzing log files - and the journey of advancing analytics is moving on forward. Google has recently announced that they will be sunsetting the current version of Google Analytics next year. More specifically, Google will stop processing data for Universal Analytics in the second half of 2023, with the user interface shutting down in 2024 at some point. This presents a challenge and opportunity for organizations, paving the way for the newest version, Google Analytics 4.
