What Is Difference Between PCNSA and PCNSE?

During this class, you will learn about Palo Alto certification paths, firewalls, firewall vendors, firewall leaders, types of firewalls, why Palo Alto, etc. You will also learn about Palo Alto.

Palo Alto's main goal is to give the best candidates a chance to show off their skills in protecting data from cyber threats.

It's not easy to get a job or a certification without the help of someone who knows what they're talking about.

Introduction

Palo Alto has three main certifications: PCCSA, PCNSA, and PCNSE. These are the three main certifications for Palo Alto certifications.

PCCSA is mostly for cybersecurity students or people just starting in the industry. PCNSA is for people who have to set up, run, and manage NGFWs, and PCNSE is for people who know a lot about NGFW security.

Security engineers who want to show that they can protect Next-generation firewalls from cyber threats need to take the PCNSA exam. It is only for people who want to work with network security or be a security administrator.

Difference between PCNSA and PCNSE

Take this exam: The Certified Network Security Administrator exam is the only thing you need to do to get the PCNSA certification.

PCNSA is a pre-sales certification that is equal parts technical and product portfolio.

Compared to a CCNA test, PCNSE is significantly more technical, asking questions on best practices/how to accomplish things depending on scenarios.

Preparing for the PCNSA requires an understanding of the EDU-110/210-course content and the Panorama course (EDU-120/220).

To be honest, I preferred the PCNSE, and it is equivalent to the "classic" CCNA R/S in terms of effort. PCNSA is the sales/support cert.

As a Palo client, you should access all online and instructor-led training resources. They are well-done and up-to-date (looking at you, Cisco).

Take this exam: The Certified Network Security Engineer exam is the only thing you need to do to get the PCNSE certification.

To start, you must not have any. If you want to take the PCNSE, you don't need the PCCSA or PCNSA, but they're a good idea.

Before taking this certification exam, Palo Alto Networks recommends that you have a lot of experience working with Palo Alto security products, such as PAN-OS software, Panorama, and GlobalProtect. Candidates should be able to design, build, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot most Palo Alto Networks Operating Platform implementations, among other things. You can get more info about PCNSE easily.

How Much Does Palo Alto Certification Cost?

Pearson VUE proctors Palo Alto Networks certification examinations. These examinations are far cheaper than other IT certifications we've reviewed. The certification system is inexpensive. The PCCSA is $100, the PCNSA is $140, and the PCNSE is $160. (USD).
