Samsung is still months away from its next Unpacked event, where it is expected to reveal new versions of its Galaxy smartwatches, but that doesn’t mean leaks have to wait, too. On the contrary, some promising rumors and juicy findings in the official code of Samsung software have already revealed bits about the upcoming Galaxy Watch 5 series smartwatches. Here’s everything that we know so far.
Design
Samsung’s current-gen smartwatch collections consist of two models namely, the "Galaxy Watch 4" and "Galaxy Watch 4 Classic". Exactly the way Samsung dismissed the Active moniker a generation earlier, it seems this year, it is eliminating the Classic branding. However, the naming convention is now going to be easier, and more recognized.
Showing off the impending Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro models, is the newest betaof the Samsung Health App, initially realized by 9to5Google, but there’s no reference to a Classic model for the next generation.
Asserting to have gotten proof, SamMobile stated that there won’t be a Classic model arriving this year.
Whether the sizes of the Galaxy Watch 5 and the costlier Pro model are going to stay the same as the Galaxy Watch 4 pair is not certain. Though the Galaxy Watch 5 is informed to be released in two size options, the Pro model will be limited to only one.
