2. Make a List of Things You’re Grateful For
We have to be thankful for things happening in our lives. Gratitude is a sense of appreciation for joy, people, experiences, and even nature. Being thankful breeds positive vibes and feelings, leading to wellness, happiness, and satisfaction. You would be happier when you focus on using more positive words rather than negative ones. This act moves you from toxicity to positivity.
To practice gratitude and appreciation daily, list what you are grateful for. Practice self gratitude like buying flowers for yourself, listing qualities about yourself, and appreciating every meal you get. You can also download a meditation or a gratitude app to help you.
3. Practice Self Love and Compassion
Loving yourself is not as easy as you think. You will feel tired, low, and unmotivated. At any point you feel down, take a break and show love to yourself. Challenges come to us every day, life throws different things at us, but we must stand firm. Whenever you can’t stand any longer, hug yourself and relax. Take things as they come, one step each day.
In this journey, you need commitment and self-compassion. Commitment keeps you going, and it helps you maintain consistency. Compassion keeps your self-love in check when you see the need to push yourself harder. You can create a mantra that can be recited every morning. Health and wellness are important steps to take to achieve body positivity. Wellness is a journey towards balanced spiritual, mental, and physical well-being. The media’s perception of body image and stigmatization of body weight. Think less of trying to meet people’s expectations about your body.
Wellness means developing a life that allows you to be the best version of yourself. It also talks about living your life to the fullest without any reservation. Wellness means different things to different people. Define your wellness through a social, emotional, occupational, physical, spiritual, and environmental outlook. After ranking your wellness, check out what category is the highest and what is the lowest. Work more on your lowest and improve yourself.
As you move on with your wellness, include self-care routines. This could include eating healthy meals, meditating, joining a gym, and creating a workout plan template. It could also be taking showers and getting a haircut frequently.
