Trends don’t last. They often change, hence if you decide to follow them, they might change drastically, and you may be left in the wilderness not knowing how to proceed without them. For instance, coconut oil used to be the go-to source of fat for people aiming to lose weight, and it was trending a while back but is now being excluded in some dieting plans because it is said to be high in saturated fats which could cause heart disease.
Some weight loss trends are harmful to you
While a lot of the trends work, there are just as many that may have adverse effects on your health. Even though a particular method is the most popular at the time, it may not work for you. For instance, some dieting plans are so extreme that people end up developing complications.

You become self-conscious and lose your self-esteem and confidence. It is all in your mind; how you view yourself affects how others perceive you. Think pleasant thoughts and appreciate your body the way it is. Take a healthy balanced diet; it is easier to accept yourself when you know that you have made an effort. Swap methods that are weight loss oriented and focus more on your fitness instead.
