Life is filled with many surprises and things you wouldn’t even expect. Sometimes good, and sometimes bad. Life gets hard, but the way you react to it is up to you, and that’s what makes you human. The best way to react to a bad situation is to stay calm and think about a way to fix it. If it’s not fixable, it’s okay, life goes on.
You may get upset, cry, or yell, and it’s only normal, you’re human. If it was a mistake, learn from it, but don’t repeat it, because then that would’ve been a choice. Always look forward and never back and think before you act. Rely only on yourself and not on other people, or you may end up getting disappointed. You’re in control.
Always believe in yourself and push further until you’ve reached your goals. Be who you want to be, not what others expect you to be, but be a good person. Give and you will receive. Treat others how you want to be treated. Respect and value yourself as the person you are. Motivate yourself to always do better to succeed in your endeavors, but spiritually as well. Having a healthy mentality will allow you to make wise choices.
After you create a healthy mentality, physical health should follow. Eat healthy and try to exercise as often as you can. Do some yoga to support your great mental state. Doing yoga whenever you’re stressed or have body aches is great because the amount of muscles you stretch creates a relaxing physicality. If you feel sick or you feel like something’s wrong, go to the doctor as soon as possible. Even if it turns out it wasn’t anything serious, at least you know now and it’s okay. Not knowing what you may have could cause anxiousness.

An important step in being healthy all-around is to maintain a healthy environment. That means, get rid of any negativity. Whether it’s a bad habit you have or the people you surround yourself with. Sometimes, the people you hang out with could be causing some negative energy and making you unhappy. Have you ever heard the saying ‘Tell me who you’re with and I’ll tell you who you are?’ This is the quote you should live by. If you hang out with someone who is negative, you will become a negative person.
Not because you want to, but because without noticing it, when you’re with that person often, naturally, you may obtain some of their bad habits. Bad habits vary from person to person, but just surround yourself with people who make you happy and support you, who lift you up and not bring you down. It will benefit you mentally and physically because your good friends will motivate you whether it’s at the gym or just being a well-rounded human being.
You will definitely improve your overall quality of life, after you cleanse away certain people. Just start by distancing yourself and you will see. Being picky with your friends is important. Remember, it’s not the quantity of friends, it’s the quality. Regardless if you have a small circle of friends, you will be way more pleased and satisfied with your way of life.
