Essential Things You Need To Know
Before Vaping CBD Oil

Vaping has become one of the most popular and effective ways to use CBD. With a diverse range of products available, it's essential to know which oils are suitable for vaping and how you can verify the quality of the oils you are using. It’s also important to note that you should always consult your doctor before incorporating CBD into your regimen if you are on prescription medications.

What is CBD?

CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a natural cannabinoid found in hemp (a cannabis plant). Cannabidiol has grown in popularity because of its therapeutic properties. It is used to relieve symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, inflammation, epilepsy, and pain. CBD can be infused into different products, including vape juice, CBD oil tinctures, edibles, creams, and capsules.

What is CBD oil?

CBD oil, which shouldn't be confused with hemp oil, has traditionally been used as an oral tincture. CBD oil contains MCT oil, which is derived from coconut and is not suitable for inhalation. Inhaling oil like that can cause lipoid pneumonia.

Unlike CBD vape juice, CBD tinctures are suitable for ingestion only. Unfortunately, most of them don't have proper warning labels and are sold in liquid-like dropper bottles.

It is essential to know the difference between CBD oil tinctures and CBD oil made for inhalation. CBD tinctures for ingestion are oil-based, and CBD vape oil is not. Here are the various types of CBD that can be used for vaping.

CBD vape juice

CBD suitable for vaping, which is sometimes called CBD vape oil, does not contain any oil. It’s made with food-grade ingredients so that it can be ingested. When buying CBD for vaping, ensure that you look carefully at the ingredients; if you see anything other than CBD extracts, cannabinoids, VG, PG, then it's unsuitable for inhalation.

Please don’t take any risks with your health. The product should indicate vaping, vape juice, e-juice, or e-liquid on the label and should not have any oils.

CBD cartridges

CBD cartridges are made similar to THC cartridges, but they are slim disposable e-cig tanks filled with CBD e-juice. Some may have pure CBD distillates made with carbon dioxide or a solvent-based CBD extraction method. These connect to a standard 510 battery and usually provide an easy entry into vaping CBD.

High CBD strains

The CBD flower is the most natural source of CBD available. Plenty of high-quality cannabis strains are available and rich in CBD and other cannabinoids. The quality ones provide between 150mg to 250mg of CBD per flower. They can be used with any vape device from https://www.drdabber.com/collections/cbd or can be purchased in pre-roll form.

What is the recommended dosage?

There's no "one size fits all" dosage for taking CBD. It all depends on a range of factors, including the symptoms you are treating, your body weight, and your tolerance to CBD products. Furthermore, everyone has a different metabolism and endocannabinoid system, which is unique to everyone and can yield different results.

The best way to find what works for you is to start low and then slowly work your way up.
