8 Ways to Make Yourself Feel More Manly

By Mikkie Mills

There is nothing wrong with feeling the need to feel more manly. Your masculinity is yours to own. Being masculine does not mean being rude to other people and feeling like you are better than everyone. Feeling more masculine is simply about a change in perspective, improving your thought process, and just making a difference in your lifestyle. Wanting to increase your masculinity is all about doing things that increase that masculine feeling in yourself.

Self Defense Classes

Self defense classes are a great way to boost your masculinity. Whether it's jiu jitsu, boxing, or just a general self defense class. Being in that environment of fighting will help you to tap into your masculine side and surround yourself with other fit guys. Self defense also teaches you the best skills to protect yourself.

Hit It Hard in the Gym

Want to feel manly and strong? The gym is the perfect place for that. Getting those endorphins moving and the testosterone hitting your body while in the gym will hit you with such a rush you'll leave the gym feeling like you can do anything. Nothing beats setting a daily goal at the gym and being able to reach it every single time. With time you will see results and benefits from reaching those goals and will give you a sense of masculinity.

Train for a Race

Have you ever thought about training for a triathlon, mud race, or a marathon? Anything that is going to get you pumped and working hard to train for a specific race is going to increase your confidence like crazy. Training for a race is not always the easiest goal to have, but doing so can improve your masculinity and how you view yourself.

Get Out of Your Comfort Zone

Do things outside of your comfort zone. Do things that scare you. Jump out a plane and skydive. Get on a roller coaster that you've been avoiding since you were a kid. As a man, nothing gets your testosterone and adrenaline rushing than doing something that scares you and gets you out of your comfort zone. You can even start small if you choose to. Just try your best to get out there and do something out of the ordinary.

Testosterone Boosters

To hit the problem right in the spot, consider investing in supplements that specialize in increasing your testosterone. Testosterone boosters are going to fix whatever is on the inside that needs to be improved upon. If recommended testosterone boosters are a great way to make you feel more manly.

Get Your Life Together

Simply get your life together. Do the things you want and need to do. Nothing is manlier than simply being a man and having things under your control. A real man stays calm under circumstances. A real man knows how to live life under his terms.

Dress Well

Did you know that having a good wardrobe can help how you feel? Consider buying clothes that not only look good but also fit your body type. Whether you are a little on the bigger side or the skinnier side, go and get your clothes tailored to fit your body. Your pants should fit your legs well while the shirts and upper body wear should simply wrap around your arms and chest just right. Remember, if you look good you feel good.

Practice Manly Body Language

This has nothing to do with trying to act masculine. Body language is simply knowing how to position yourself so that you can come off as confident as possible. Slouching and keeping your head forward are both signs of being reserved and introverted. Manly body language simply means asserting yourself.

Feeling more manly is all about being more aware of yourself everyday. The tips above are surefire ways to better handling yourself for the better. Feeling more manly is about making smart life choices and doing things a certain way. You can increase your masculinity today by making several changes to how you live your life. It's incredible what can happen with your confidence and way of treating yourself when you have more masculinity flowing in your veins.
