Both vision and hearing can be impaired due to aging. It is recommended for seniors to get regular checkups for their sight and hearing. For most, they will notice an increased difficulty in reading fine print as well as gradual hearing loss. Many seniors have today have presbyopia, which is the inability to see clearly at near distances, like when reading. By taking early preventative measures, many long term problems can be avoided and lead to an improved life.

Shingles is common in those aged 60+ due to the weakened immune systems caused by aging.
