The omega-3 fatty acids found in the fish from this diet are great at keeping skin cells and their membranes strong and elastic, which helps to fight off the development of melanoma, which is the deadliest form of skin cancer.

Cortisol is known for causing breakouts due to the amount of processed foods and refined sugars in the typical diet. To lower cortisol, the best thing to do is swap the processed grains for whole grain varieties, and also swapping leaner meat means providing zinc that is needed to remove blemishes. Also, these proteins are great for building collagen in the body, which means making skin more elastic in the long run.
There are many, small changes that can be done to improve the way our skin looks on the outside. Most of these changes happen to what goes into the body, thus improving skin from the inside out.
