Here are 5 Instant Pot desserts we have rustled up to make any sweet tooth’s heart sing, with a particularly delightful recipe for cinnamon rolls you must try out!

1) Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup of whole milk
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 1/4 plain flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 /12 tsp baking powder
  • 1/1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/2 tsp table salt
  • 7 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups of water
  • 3/4 light brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter

Whisk sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt together. Add butter to this mix. In a separate bowl, mix the milk and vinegar to make buttermilk. In another bowl, mix all other dry ingredients. Pour the melted butter into the milk. Mix wet and dry ingredients to form the dough. Roll to make a log and then arrange in the Instant Pot and cook for 23 minutes. When finished, cover with icing. And there you have it, a recipe for cinnamon rolls you must try out.

2) Fudge Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick of salted butter
  • 2/3 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups of light brown sugar
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1/4 cup plain flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup of water

Mix all ingredients to create a batter. Transfer to well buttered pan. In the Instant Pot, pour in the cup of water. Place its trivet in the pot and then transfer the pan onto the trivet. Cook on high pressure for 50 minutes.

3) Quick Peach Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 1 store-bought cake mix
  • 1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter
  • 8 peaches (tinned is fine)

Place peach slices into the instant pot, cover with the cake mix and then pour the melted butter on top. Place this pan on the trivet and leave to cook for 15 minutes.

4) Nutella Lava Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of hazelnut spread (Nutella)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup of plain flour
  • Punnet of raspberries

Mix ingredients and pour into individual moulds. Lower these moulds onto the trivet in the instant pot and cook on high pressure for 20 minutes.

5) Cinnamon Spiced Apples

Ingredients:

  • 6 sweet apples, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon clove
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • Zest of one lemon

Combine all ingredients the instant pot and cook on a high pressure for 2 minutes followed by a quick release. Perfect for making an apple cobbler or crumble and equally great just served with vanilla ice cream.
