How You Can Improve Your Sleep

In 2022, Americans are more stressed out than ever. We’ve faced an immense number of unprecedented hardships over the past few years, and this is only added to the fact that our super connected world makes it nearly impossible to completely detach and unwind.

Technology alone makes getting adequate sleep little more than a wishful daydream. Most of us have our phones near us at night and it’s the last thing we see before sleep and the first thing we see in the morning.

Experts believe that having phones at arm's length during times intended for sleep is not conducive to real rest. Along with the stresses of everyday life, the rising inflation, and war, we are really struggling to disconnect.

We may be powerless to change things like gas prices and Russian invasions, but we can make simple changes to our sleep routine to make it truly restful.

Things like leaving the phone across the room, playing soothing sounds, filling the room with calming scents, and getting sheets that are cool and comfortable, can all provide a better atmosphere for rest that will actually be rejuvenating.
