Our modern way of living can be stressful, and this stress can be devastating to us. It can generate diseases or body aches, make us gain weight or lose sleep and many other problems that can point us to a life of discomfort.

So, what kind of power do we have over this? What can we really do to lead a healthy life?

There are several aspects to consider. In this article, we will try to resume the main habits you need to take into account to live to the fullest.

Habits for a healthy mind and body

As mentioned before, maintaining a healthy body and a strong mind requires developing a certain lifestyle, which means embracing a lot of good new habits. However, we will mention some of the most important, the ones that probably will help more than the others will.

Here we go:

Exercise daily

It's been proven that exercise increases our energy, reduces our stress, helps to improve our mood and even can help us to be more creative. It's even better when you exercise doing something you love, that way you will be motivated to do it and laziness won't win you over. You will be looking forward to working out! So choose an activity you can really enjoy, whether it's yoga, running, martial arts or going to the gym… there are tons of options, just pick the one that makes you happy while doing it. Remember to dress with the appropriate clothing, when it comes to physical activity, you must be comfortable, especially if you are a women, it´s important to find the right support for your bust. The best bras for women, for this kind of exercise, is the sport bra, so make sure to be equipped with a good sport outfit!

Eat healthy

Nutrition is relevant, but don't push yourself to the limit. If you find it hard to quit sugar or processed food, you can take things a step at a time. There's no need to ban every piece of food you are used to eating at once. However, keep in mind it's important to correct your eating habit. Your body needs to be well nourished. Therefore, we recommend the following:

  • REMOVE SUGAR: this is really bad for your organism. It s best if you remove it completely from your diet, but if this is almost impossible for you, keep it under 50g a day.
  • ORGANIC NATURAL FOOD: You must try to avoid processed food and go back to the source, eat as much fruits and vegetables as possible, and try to find an organic store.
  • DRINK WATER: We often forget to drink the right amount of water our body needs. Therefore, we recommend buying a special bottle to keep with you at all times. Our body needs 2 liters of water every day (average), check the right amount you need according to your weight and make the habit of drinking that much.

Meditate

This is a difficult task for most people, but it's just because they are facing it from the wrong angle. There are all kinds of different methods of meditation, it's just a matter of finding the one that suits you better. So, investigate, do a little experimentation and try to find a form of meditation that is compatible with you. Besides, you don't have to meditate for long periods of time, if you do it daily, it can be enough with 10 minutes of meditation per day.

Pursue a passion project

When we chase our dreams, our passions or hobbies we feel great. Our vitality is at its maximum, our brain is active, we get creative, and this keeps our mind strong and our body healthy. If you never stopped to consider what you are passionate about, we recommend you to start now. Find your passion and pursue it!

Moreover, always try to keep positive thoughts, no matter what. Negative thoughts makes our mind sick. Live to the max.
