Bidets for 4 Common Health Issues

By Sarah Jessica Smith

The bidet originated in France a long time ago but is still used in European and Eastern societies. For some reason, the western public didn’t take to it, but it’s never too late. The popularity of the bidet rises on the West as more and more people become aware of the exceptional health benefits it carries with it. Many deal with the effects of rough toilet paper first-hand and can’t seem to find the right solution to their health problems. You aren’t even aware that the most common issues can be solved simply by switching to the healing bidet.

1. Skin irritation

You would be surprised how many people get skin irritation from toilet paper. No matter how good we think it is, we’re still wiping with sanded down wood mixed with a lot of other chemicals. After all, what do you think makes it smell and look so nice? The market attractiveness of toilet paper may be enough to bring it into your home, but the same chemicals can cause serious issues for your bottom.

Allergies to toilet paper are also fairly common, so minimizing its usage is highly advisable. With a bidet, there are no chemicals, no wood splinters, and no irritations. All you get is an enjoyable stream of water.

2. Hygiene

No matter how much we pay attention to our hygiene, the matter of the fact is that we’re not as clean down there as we should be. You could take one or two showers a day and pay special attention to your privates, but you’ll still sweat during the day and you’ll still go to the bathroom multiple times.

These are natural and normal bodily functions, but the results can cause serious issues. Improper hygiene is the number one cause of illnesses which can be stopped simply by washing more often. Rashes, infections, and bad odour are just a few.

The effects are only stronger and the risk higher as the temperatures outside increase. There will always be sweat or residue from going to the bathroom, regardless of how hard you try to wipe. The only thing that can improve your hygiene and help you avoid the uncomfortable results is the bidet. It’s basically like having a shower just for your privates.

3. Female health

Females especially could benefit from using a bidet on a regular basis. As we all know, the female body is complicated and has a lot of processes in place to cleanse itself and get rid of the things it doesn’t need anymore. The menstrual cycle is one such process and it takes a toll on the physical health of the female very often. Not only does the female need to worry about cramps, mood swings, cravings, various other pains, but she also needs to deal with the often heavy flow.

Tampons, pads, and menstrual cups are, of course, helpful, but they are often not enough to maintain proper hygiene and feel fresh during the day. This time of the month is very important for the body, as you still need to get on with your day while staying clean and avoiding discomfort and possible infections/rashes.

By using a bidet, your private parts stay clean every time you go to the bathroom, without there being the need to hop in the shower every time. Heavy flows will be much easier to handle, too, as most of the blood will wash away so the female sanitary products will be able to do their jobs better.

4. Hemorrhoids

Though this is an uncomfortable topic for many, hemorrhoids are still a common issue people face. To heal, they need constant gentle care and a lot of cream. The healing process only stretches on when you’re using toilet paper, as you’re directly making your bottom uncomfortable. Toilet paper is often rough and scratchy, and can even make hemorrhoids bleed if you’re not careful enough. Not being able to wipe thoroughly can just make you feel more uncomfortable and cause prolonging the healing process even more.

By using a bidet, you’re giving your bottom the gentle care it needs to heal. A gentle pressure of water usually feels really good in such a sensitive area and cleans it thoroughly in the process. When you’re done, you can simply apply the cream again without having to worry that you’ve hindered the healing process.

Now that they’re clean and taken care of, hemorrhoids can easily be managed and they’ll disappear in no time. Another benefit is that you won’t have to shower every time you go to the toilet. All you’ll have to do is sit down on the bidet and let it take care of your most intimate and sensitive body part.

The bidet is good for you, your home, and the world. It is the perfect bathroom fixture because it takes into account the needs of everyone involved in the process. You’re doing something good for your health, your pipers aren’t suffering, and you’re being greener and helping the Earth. By incorporating a bidet into your home, you’re saying yes to an improved life with better health and goodbye to the problems that have seemed unsolvable for years.
