Sims 4 Guide for Beginners, Tips & Tricks
Playing The Sims 4 is like being a trickster god. You have the power to craft a universe filled with beautiful homes, thriving careers, and adorable little pets. Your fingertips hold the fate of this tiny society. They won’t live long without your guidance — so make them work for you.
The Sims franchise is coming up on its 10th year anniversary — and with it, a whole new host of newcomers to the series, who may have missed previous iterations in the series. The Sims 4 has had plenty of time to improve upon what came before, and even if you're brand new to the game (or returning from a break) there are some things you can do to ensure your gameplay experience is as enjoyable as possible, right from day one.
Play as you Want
The Sims 4 is the perfect game for those who want to pursue their creativity with Sims 4 gameplay mods. Every player can create a unique character, whether it be from scratch or from a pre-made Sim. You can make your own world, with your own rules — or you can embrace the world as it is and take control over the characters as if you were God himself! The choice is yours.
Mood Up Sims
With the Sims 4, players can now make their characters take a variety of shower moods. Hoping to help your favourite Sims become more flirty? Or are you trying to help your Sim get in touch with his inner artist? Regardless of what mood you're trying to achieve, you'll have great fun doing it!
A creative Sim can be a source of inspiration for other Sims, which is great for those in creative careers! Using the 'Inspired' moodlet can boost your Sim's performance at work. Meet Your Sims Needs
The Sims 4 is a game about taking your life back. It's all about setting up a home in which your Sims can be happy and fulfilled. Create space for your Sim to do the things they enjoy, like spending time with friends and fixing up the house.
As a teen, your child will have their own cell phone to keep in touch with family and friends. These phones are upgradable and will prove to be a lifesaver for your children — and as an added bonus, reduce the risk of having them come home with a bad grade by distracting them from homework!
Debugging Cheats Friends
Although cheating and hacking the game is frowned upon by most, sometimes things do wrong and you need to use cheats to restore your Sim’s life. Maybe your Sim won't come to home after work one night, or they get stuck in a cycle of resetting to their starting position in the neighbourhood. If something like this happens, you can reset them using a cheat code.
Lookout Inspiration In your Gallery
Want to buy a home that's already been designed, or just need a little help getting started? You've come to the right place. Just click on the 'Gallery' button in the upper righthand corner of your screen. There, you'll find plenty of homes that have already been fully-designed, along with a ton of resources for designing your own home. All your unique design needs in one place!
Expansion Packs, Stuff Packs And Game Packs
While the Sims has received many additional Sims 4 expansion packs, tons of DLC, and additions to the original game that add fun new systems and levels, it can be really daunting to determine which ones to buy. Don't feel obligated to purchase everything.
While there are a lot of great places online to find content, it's probably best to start with your own mind. Be sure to create an outline for your novel before you start writing. You can do this by making a list of all the plot points and themes that you want to include in your novel — and then jotting down the setting and characters that will be used.
