The Call of the Wild
It's Catch-22. The beauty of nature is often just what we need to remind us that our problems are exaggerated in our minds; and the gut feelings we have, if listened to, bring us back to the reality of our core instincts and intuitive sense.
And in our education, we need an holistic approach. When a concept has been understood intellectually, if the learning is to be of value then a connection with personal feelings, inner knowing and experience has to be made, and consideration of how the information would best be applied.
Actually we need both, the intellect and the heart. And to move forward in our lives, we need the two well integrated and cleared of distortions, misperceptions and limitations. Our genuine feelings need to be released and our beliefs re-examined - so that we act from inspiration, not from the dictates of earlier conditioning.
The two work hand-in-hand. Rationality does not necessarily mean masculine insensitivity, and heart intelligence is not just for the naïve. Feelings and relationships need focus and direction, and action needs an empathic understanding of context. Objectivity in the light of love is the means.
This is why we have 'Transforming the Mind' and the Mind Development courses at Trans4mind. And it's why we have the Emotional Intelligence section and Ayal Hurst's 'Clearing the Way'. And many further parts of the site illustrate the need for this holistic approach: the clearing and integration of Body, Mind and Spirit.
There are many parts because we are each a complex mixture of realized and unrealized potentials, so what one person needs is different from the other. As we progress new tools become needed. That's what the Trans4mind site is about. Please check out the Introduction to Trans4mind, which goes into more detail.
As you find and dissolve the barriers to your personal development, I wish you to experience the thrill of insight (your potential revealed) many times over in the coming years.
